Mission Statement

The mission of Corporate Healthcare is to reduce employer liability and employee absenteeism by providing employers with substance abuse detection, drug screening services, and background checks.  Additionally, Corporate Healthcare offers travel immunization and other health services to employers in the Charlotte, North Carolina area requiring travel medicine services and employee physicals.

Substance Abuse Screening

Whether you are hiring one or five hundred employees, a legally supportable substance abuse screening program will reduce your exposure to liabilities involving impaired workers.  In addition to "New Hire" screening, an Employer Substance Abuse Policy requiring "Random" and "For Cause" substance abuse testing may improve your profits through reduced absenteeism and legal liabilities.

Most employers use a standard six or ten panel urine drug screen *  to identify abuse in the past 24 to 96 hours or longer.  Hair and saliva testing ** are also available and test for drug use up to three months (hair) in the past or within the last 24 hours (saliva).  Alcohol can also be detected in the urine allowing an employer to screen for employees that may be suffering from alcoholism.

Please call us at 704 895-5000 to discuss your specific needs and to establish an account.

*Six panel urine drug screens test for amphetimines, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, PCP, and methamphetamines.  Ten panel urine drug screens test for the same drugs as the six panel plus barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methadone, and propoxyphene.  **Hair and saliva are tested for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, and PCP.  Alcohol may also be added to the test panels.

How to Request A Drug Test

Corporate Healthcare provides drug testing services throughout the United States but our roots are in serving small and medium sized businesses in the Charlotte and Lake Norman, North Carolina markets.  For that reason we are able to offer our local business customers service that usually is reserved for large corporations.  With our main collection site and board certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) / Physician located in Huntersville, North Carolina, we are able to serve small businesses on short notice and without extensive contractual agreements*.  The drug testing requisition forms located here simplify the testing process and help small business meet the testing requirements of the applicable state laws.

If our main collection site is not convenient, Corporate Healthcare contracts with Quest Diagnostics for specimen collections.  With over 7000 collection sites nationwide, one is probably convenient to your testing needs**.

* The employer is still responsible for complying with state and federal laws and is responsible for the actions taken on the basis of the drug test reports.  If a company is testing more than a few employees annually, an agreement will be required. ** A drug testing agreement is required to use one of our contracted collection sites.

Drug Test Alterations and Dilute Specimens
